Chokhi Dani air cooled a total area of 60,000 sq ft to increase productivity
Chokhi Dhani Foods Pvt. Ltd is one of Rajasthan’s biggest processed food manufacturer. Their food processing plant functions all year round including during the state’s torrid, hot summers. It has hundreds of on-ground workers and chefs that curate cuisines for visitors every day. It manufactures a variety of Instant mixes, gravies, pickles, jams, chutneys, etc.
Chokhi Dhani functions all year round. Regardless of the temperature conditions within the plant, the workers have to keep working in order to meet the high demand of food and supplements. During summers, temperatures soar to unbearably high levels, making it challenging to work in the industrial kitchens. This leads to a decrease in productivity and health issues among the workers.

Symphony conducted a free site survey to understand the issue of high-temperature generation at the Chokhi Dhani food processing plant. In order to combat the constant heat produced by cooking large quantities of food, multiple units of Symphony SPS 75 were installed. For a uniform cooling, 11 units were used for top discharge, while 3 were used for side discharge of cool, pure air. These machines were connected to a 100 to 200 feet duct with 18 spot diffusers. The ground floor duct had 24 outlets, spreading the cooling solution evenly across the plant.
Chokhi Dhani food plant, expanding over a total area of 60,000 sq ft., was able to air cool and reduce employee discomfort, thereby increasing their productivity. The installation of industrial air coolers also ensured a decrease in electricity bills and maintenance issues. The reduction in dust build-up in the manufacturing unit resulted in completely clean, healthy and filtered air.
